The Ambracian Gulf is one of the most important ecosystems in Greece — a Ramsar protected wetland, a National Park, and home to one of Europe’s largest resident dolphin populations. There is no better place in the country to teach ecology, marine biology, and conservation.
Our school trips are designed with teachers. The programme is adapted to the age group and curriculum requirements before departure. Our guide our expert guide is a wildlife expert who collaborates with universities on dolphin research — she knows how to engage young people in a way textbooks cannot.
Bottlenose Dolphins
120+ resident dolphins. Students observe natural behaviour with expert commentary.
Sea Turtles
Loggerhead sea turtles (Caretta caretta) — a living lesson in protected species conservation.
